A private social network for your people.
You do not have to choose. Keep the apps you enjoy. Watch the videos. Follow creators. Post publicly when you want to. Grav exists for the part of your life that should not have to become public content just to be social.
The Grav idea
Travel the universe. Come home to your Grav.
The internet is enormous. We move between sites, apps and communities all day. Some are for entertainment, some for work, some for creating, and some for discovering what is happening in the world. Grav does not pretend those places should disappear.
Grav is the place you return to around your star: your family, friends, communities and people you intentionally keep close. It is home for your social life, not another destination competing to consume all of your attention.
What changes when the incentives change?
No performance requirement
No streak to protect, no follower count to grow, no engagement algorithm to satisfy and no trend you have to chase to remain visible.
Private by default where it matters
Your Feeds are invite-only. Messaging is controlled. Your personal sharing is not an advertising surface.
Catch up, then leave
Brief helps you see what happened without making endless scrolling the price of staying connected.
Public when you choose
Channels give creators, businesses and communities an opt-in public space without turning private Feed relationships into an audience.
Community without the creator-economy treadmill.
Grav does not pay influencers to join, run referral programs, sell boosts, or operate a marketplace. A Channel is a space for people who intentionally choose your community. Build your newsletter, Patreon, merchandise, memberships or business however you want. Grav does not need to insert itself into every transaction.
Privacy you can inspect.
We publish our privacy approach, maintain a Privacy Proof Center, and give members My Grav Record in the app so transparency is part of the product rather than a slogan.
Come home when you are ready.
Grav is coming to iOS and Android. Join the interest list or support the project while we build toward launch.
