Leaving the feed? Good.
Grav is what social looks like when you're the customer instead of the crop.
What you're leaving behind
Built for the exit
- Private conversations, no open inbox , new conversations start with your approval or a personal invitation you chose to share, and your conversations stay with you across your devices. See the privacy policy.
- Private by architecture , invite-based Feeds, no follower graph, and database policies designed around member-only access.
- Everything we know about you fits in one ZIP , Settings includes data export. The export should show account data, content, subscriptions, blocks, and diagnostics without location history, contacts, ad profiles, or tracking history. What we don't collect.
- Moderated like we mean it , real prohibited-content rules, human-decided enforcement, zero tolerance for child exploitation. How we moderate.
- Works when the network doesn't , thoughts you write offline queue on your device and send when you're back. More offline is coming; your words shouldn't need a connection to exist.
- 18+ only , Grav is intended for adults 18+.
- Provably private . See how Grav protects you.
- Funded transparently , no advertisers, no data deals, no hidden revenue model. Grav+ subscribers fund the free tier. That's the whole business model, written plainly in our privacy policy.
For families: kids in the photos, not on the platform
Your kids' childhood belongs in a private Feed, not on a public feed.
Grav is 18+ by design. Your kids don't get accounts here, and that's the point. You create the family Feed; the adults who love them join it: the other parent, grandparents, aunts and uncles. The recital video, the beach weekend, the first day of school: posted once, seen only by the people you invited, and nothing else happens to it.
- No strangers. Invite-only, no public feed, nothing pointing strangers at your family, nobody you didn't choose.
- No companies. No ad profile is built on your eight-year-old. No engagement data. No tracking pixel following your family around the internet.
- No models. Your kids' faces are not training data. We don't train AI on your content. It's in our privacy policy, in writing.
- No leaks by design. Metadata is stripped from normal app photo/video uploads, there is no re-share button for other people's private content, and members can attach screenshots as evidence when reporting harm.
- Kids can still watch. Show them the family Feed on your phone. They see grandma's reaction; they're part of it, without an account, a profile, or a data trail that follows them to adulthood.
When they're old enough to choose social media for themselves, they'll inherit something rare: a childhood that was never public.
Bring your people
Grav doesn't import your follower graph. That's the point. You start with the people who matter enough to invite. One Feed, a handful of people, and the group chat that actually feels like your friends again. Invite with a QR code from your profile; they're in before the kettle boils.
