Child Safety Standards

Grav has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, trafficking, sextortion, or any other child exploitation. These standards apply to every Feed surface, including profiles, private Feeds, posts, comments, direct and group Messages, and uploaded media.
Report an urgent concern
Use the report control beside the content or account whenever possible. It preserves the identifiers and context our safety team needs. You can also email safety@social-orbit.app.
Do not download, copy, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM. Report it without creating another copy. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
What is prohibited
- CSAM in photographic, video, generated, drawn, or written form
- Grooming, coercion, enticement, or sexual solicitation involving a minor
- Sextortion, trafficking, or attempts to arrange sexual contact with a minor
- Sexualized comments, fantasies, role-play, or communities focused on minors
- Sharing, requesting, linking to, reacting positively to, or helping others find this material
How Grav responds
When a report identifies a credible child-safety concern, staff use a restricted case workflow to isolate the material from ordinary access, preserve evidence, review relevant context, restrict implicated accounts, and document each decision. Sensitive evidence and external-reporting steps require controlled access and a second staff approval.
Confirmed or apparent child exploitation is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required. Active preservation holds prevent implicated accounts and evidence from being deleted while an investigation or legal obligation remains open.
Safety by design
- Grav is for adults age 18 and older.
- People can report content and accounts and block abusive users.
- Public-facing text is filtered against objectionable-content rules.
- Child-safety reports are prioritized for human review; staff decide enforcement and removal.
- Staff decisions, evidence holds, approvals, and official report identifiers are audited.
- Private sharing does not exempt content from Grav's safety rules.
